2021 wurde sie mit dem Ziel gegründet, eigene Stoffe zu entwickeln und umzusetzen und dabei ein Netzwerk an Talenten mit dem Fokus auf das narrative und dokumentarische Kino aufzubauen. Zum Produktionsteam gehören Nicola Heim, Nele Schallenberg und Kaspar Panizza.

Die erste Eigenproduktion war der Kurzfilm BRUXELLES mit Anneke Kim Sarnau in der Hauptrolle. 2021 entstand der mittellange Spielfilm DANIEL, der 2022 in den Wettbewerb des Achtung Berlin Filmfestivals eingeladen und dort mit dem Preis für den besten mittellangen Film ausgezeichnet wurde. 

2023 folgte mit KNOCHEN UND NAMEN der erste Langspielfilm, der auf der Berlinale in der Perspektive Deutsches Kino Premiere feierte und dort den Heiner-Carow-Preis gewann. Seitdem war der Film auf einer Vielzahl internationaler Festivals zu sehen und wurde von Salzgeber im Januar 2024 in die deutschen Kinos gebracht.

2024 feierte der Spielfilm SAD JOKES Premiere auf dem Filmfest München, wo er mit dem Förderpreis Neues Deutsches Kino für die beste Regie und dem FIPRESCI-Preis der internationalen Filmkritik ausgezeichnet wurde. Seine internationale Premiere hatte der Film auf dem TIFF - Toronto International Film Festival 2024 in der Discovery-Sektion. 2025 wurde er in die Filmreihe New Directors - New Films ins MoMA & Lincoln Center in New York eingeladen.

Founded by Fabian Stumm in 2021, it aims to develop and realize original material while building a network of talent with a focus on narrative and documentary cinema.

The first in-house production was the short film BRUXELLES starring Anneke Kim Sarnau. In 2022, the mid-length feature DANIEL was selected for the Achtung Berlin Film Festival Competition where it won the award for the Best Mid-Length Film.

The first feature film BONES AND NAMES premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival in Perspektive Deutsches Kino in 2023 and won the Heiner Carow Prize. Since then it was selected for a variety of international festivals and is set to be released by Salzgeber in German cinemas in January 2024.

In 2024, the feature film SAD JOKES premiered at Munich International Film Festival where it was awarded both the New German Cinema Award for Best Director and the FIPRESCI international film critics award. SAD JOKES celebrated its international premiere at TIFF - Toronto International Film Festival in the Discovery section in 2024 and was invited to New Directors - New Films at MoMA and Lincoln Center in New York in 2025.
